panel shaker door in Hickory. We can use Hickory on ANY of our SOLID
door styles. HICKORY Hickory is a very hard wood. It naturally has a mix of sap and heart wood, ( whites to tan & browns ). This is the mix we will hand select to make each of your doors a work of art. Each and every door will be a different mix and have its own characteristics yet each blending in with the others. You will have to look hard to find this natural beauty in any other species. |

| Image is of our traditional cutter. | These areas are very slightly rounded. This makes finishing, dusting and cleaning a pleasure for years to come. No ripping out little pieces with your staining rag or brush on our doors. With this design the stain and or top coats can get in the tongue and groove deeper which means a big reduction in that old tell tale expansion and contractions marks from dry winters to damp humid summers. This is a very improved design and MOST manufacturers are not doing it. |

All our doors have a 9/16" deep tongue. This is deep as compared to most. But we couldn't leave it at that. To make our doors even stronger and to add many more years to them we insert a 8mm X 50mm hard wood dowel in each corner. This is any doors weak point, not ours. Ask our competitors if they give you this addition on every door they manufacture? |
